The Routledge Handbook of CoFuturisms, edited by Taryne Jade Taylor, Isiah Lavender III, Grace L. Dillon, and Bodhisattva Chattopadhyay, is now available. It includes my essay, “Waste Time: Bodily Fluids and Afrofuturity,” in which I write about Aimé Césaire, Ayi Kwei Armah, Ousmane Sembène, Wanuri Kahiu, sweat, spit, waste, flow, and time. (And more.) This is an academic book, so it’s pretty expensive–consider ordering it from your local library, or asking them to purchase it if they’re interested! You can read more about the book, including the full and fascinating table of contents, here.
