This video captures a conversation with the editors and several authors of Realms of Imagination: Essays from the Wide Worlds of Fantasy, the illustrated essay collection accompanying the current exhibition on fantasy at the British Library. Each author shares ideas on one of the four categories in the exhibition: Folk and Fairy Tales (Cristina Bacchilega), Epics and Quests (me), the Weird and the Uncanny (Ann VanderMeer) and Portals and Worlds (Dimitra Fimi). The exchange was a pleasure, with thought-provoking audience questions and a brilliant defense of storytelling in times of crisis from Ann. You can watch it here.
